thanksgiving at rob's was great...we watched "gimme shelter"...
another great day with j yesterday, we went up to fern canyon (see fotolog NOW and over the next few days for pics) it's funny, neither of us had been there before, and i've seen a million pics of it at work! wow, it's really beautiful up there...
oh, but when we got back to the car, i had left the lights on, and the battery was dead. so was my phone, but i dont think i could have gotten coverage up there anyway. we got a jump from a nice couple with a white suzuki swift (another smurf car!)
we went to dinner at the silver lining at the airport. mmmmmmm, yumyum. great food, and a cute waiter, though a bit too eager to do a good job..."excellent choice, sir" "ahh, my favorite"...like that.
watched "pacific heights" and "wonder boys"...we laughed when robert downey jr. smelled that weed and said "humboldt county?"
left about 12:30, told j. i had a great day, and he said "are you gonna WRITE about it?"
silly boy.

drove up to mckinleyville and through fieldbrook towards blue lake today, the same drive i took the day i got my car, nice country out there.
oh, and yesterday i left my yahoo away message up that i was shaving...left it up all day i mean...

stopping smoking would be a nice way to finish up this great year, don't you think?
i've met and exceeded MANY goals this year. i was looking at some entries from last spring, and saw where i was... wishing for a few things...i got the NN, but i haven't got the PP yet.
well, it's something to hope for.
