pride recap

hi.
pride on sunday was fun. quite a bit smaller than last year, but better cuz i know people now. i got there right before noon, and the parade was already over! there were hardly any booths and vendors. but a good crowd.
walked around for a while, checking it out. saw jr, that was great, i haven't seen him since that day at the tennis courts. we caught up on stuff, sounds like he's doing good.
dan and kev arrived around 1pm. hung out on the grass with them. dan helped some guys with packaging condoms...kev and i watched the passing boys! listened to some music. got some food. ran into sean, that beautiful black boy...last time i saw him, i was kicking him out of the store, haha! he smelled good, and said he goes by "beyonce", hehe!
met vis from that chat room, and i thought i spotted taylor too, found out last night i was right. talked to john from l.a. who was at the dinner thursday. very handsome guy, looks like morrissey. told kev that and he started singing "there is a light that never goes out"...
the boys took off around 3, i hung out for a bit more.

so, yeah, a nice afternoon.
friday night i went to see art in arcata. found dan and kev at jacoby storehouse, we checked out john crater's show. good stuff. mostly scenes of trinidad, which made me a bit melancholy, la la la...checked out allison's dog paintings at arcata exchange too. great stuff.
looks like me and kev are going backpacking weekend after next...more on that later.
kiwi, sorry i couldn't chat last night...
have some musing to do on stuff, boy philosophy, stuff like that.
