a fun day and two dirtys
8:10 p.m.
interesting day. everyone was so hot at work today, it was weird. this cool guy asked he how my day was going so far, and he seemed genuinely interested in my response. about an hour later i was waiting on this other cutie and he gave me this...look, and i knew he was gonna ask me the same thing. and he did.
i was definitely oozing SOMETHING today, i dunno. charm or whatever. everyone was smiling at me.
hmmm.
oh and colin came in, that 6 foot 5 kid, we caught up, that was cool. what a beauty.
and matt quintanna came in and got money from his dad. he's like a latino dork, black glasses. very sweet. remembered my name. last time we had a talk about vinyl, cuz "turn, turn, turn" was playing and he asked me if that was simon and garfunkle or peter paul and mary. i said, no it was the byrds, and he was talkin' about how good the old stuff sounds on vinyl. very impressive.
well, hmm, i NEED a new music buddy since rob's moving to dc in june...
it was as if the kind-of-boys-michael-likes bus pulled up in the parking lot today, weird.

1. a few days ago there was a discussion on francis bacon over at cooper's blog. i have this self-portrait that's kinda bacon-like, so i sent it to him:

it's so cool to correspond with him, but, you know, i'd never say "oh, dennis cooper? oh, i know him!"
that pic is from last fall, tony and i spent an afternoon chatting, and i was running around the house taking pics like that and sending them to him. i was playing with it one day and it got very painting-like. that was taken the same day as that ass shot that's up on gay.com and tribe, if you've seen that.
it's an ass, big deal, whatev!

2. last week louis rodriguez did a western union. he's been in a few times. i don't think he knows me, but i was thinking, what would he have said if i had told him "oh you know that guy you lived with for eight years? the one you loved with all your heart? did you know i was the first person to ever suck his dick?"
p.s. : i got half a bone the other night during my walk, thinking about doing SOMETHING to SOMEONE...
