saturday morning i got up early and walked all the way down to judah...drooled at some more houses, etc.
walked over to the beach, watched a big freighter head into the bay.
hit a yard sale, picked up some little ceramic bowls for kevin and dan.
walked to the bull and had a great breakfast, yum! this pic is on one of the doors back by the bathrooms..

drove downtown. went to virgin. books, mags, etc. headed over to 49 geary. hit several galleries. saw a cool video thing at the place rob and i went to in july. the fraenkel gallery had some diane arbus and peter hujar photos. i was in heaven. some pricey stuff there. beautiful place.
found this little tiny gallery jack fisher gallery...cool stuff. that's a place i would send something to for sure.
took some pics downtown of course...
headed back to motel. stopped on judah to go to other avenues natural foods, got some sushi and veggie wraps, oooh, and that red ginger limeade i had last time! there was this little gallery right whene i parked... artwaves gallery...a cool little neighborhood place. all kinds of stuff there. i had a nice talk to the guy watching the place. it's kind of a co-op thing, artists rent space and the gallery doesn't take a commission...hmmm. gonna look into that too.
ok. went back to my room, had a snack....read and napped a bit i guess.
that night i went down to the castro, i was gonna walk around, but i really couldnt find parking, that's the one thing
i hate about the city!
headed over to polk street...was driving around. one of the boywhores and i made eye contact...he gave me a nod like..."i'm available"...he would have gotten right in the car too...amazing. beautiful kid...but...naw.
although, the night before, i was laying in bed wondering about...escorts. there's lots of those places down there, ya know. could i have called and said "hi!, yes, i'd like a nice little asian, not too tall, smoooth, for cuddling and maybe a little playing around. needs to stay the night. no fucking." ???
hmmmmm...
went back to ocean park...alone, duh!
sunday went for another walk before i checked out...i did over 10 miles over the weekend down there. more nice houses, sigh.
stopped by albertsons, got a turkey roll up. headed over to amoeba, bought 6 cd's...x, cake like, the latest john doe, sparks, a calexico remix and an old todd rundgren.
headed out around 1 p.m. stopped in petaluma for gas and a sammich, and in ukiah at that little coffee place sheila turned me on to, got a mocha blizzard, cuz i was getting a little drowsy.
got home a little after 6...
and i guess that's it!

let's see...chatted with jason the other night...a local guy died, that was nice of him to let me know. we caught up a bit, etc. it always makes me a little melancholy, but i wouldn't tell him that. he'll read this though, i guess...oh well.
had fun with kev at the shanty friday night. i finally met hurricane josh, haha! it's fun there, trying to guess who's queer or not. ricky invited me last night, but i stayed home.
had a few chats with john in hayward yesterday...
he was impressed i knew the b-52's reference in his bio line...and later i guessed his other one was from a john waters movie. he was like "wow, who ARE you???"
very sweet guy. said he looked foward to our next chat.
there ARE cool people down there, it just takes a bit to find 'em among all the ho's.
and this afternoon a guy from sf started chatting with me, he saw my line about joni...
very cute kid...aaron...22...kinda chubby, hairy asian. we looked at each others myspaces, and i showed him my photo sites, he liked my stuff. he works in a pizza place in the castro..he said "my pie brings all the boys to the yard", hahaha! a very interesting guy, not a jerk. seemed to think i was pretty easy on the eyes too! we talked about all kinds of things...cuddling and necks and shaved heads and gay cliches...he had some very deep stuff on his MS blog, i was impressed.
i know, i know...22...i'm way past defending myself about that shit, you know that. he seems pretty intellegent. so bite me :)
says he can relate to older people better. i said well i'm old enough to be his daddy, and he said well, HIS dad is 83!!!
