i got 73 votes via banners, email, a few people at work, etc. i ran a banner with 3000 views, BUT...i guess i clicked it 3 times, as there were 3 of the same banner, so...9000 views! that's one reason the pics were up for so long. i got 177 visits from that, so, not bad i guess.
some people i didn't hear back from...kevin and jason, you are POOPIEHEADS!
got a lot of comments too, as you might have seen, and i took those and the votes into consideration. after many comments about the pic of the tree and the truck, i decided to drop that one. the one with the 3 logs...oh, i dunno, the water was too far away, i still love the pic, though.
and the one with the reflection of the tree in the parking lot DOES look much better with the car tires cropped out, thanks for the tip, people!
the one with the water, sidewalk and gutter is pretty much my favorite. i printed it at work last night and it looks really good. bought some simple silver frames and classic white mats last night also. printed my other choices today. i was gonna get them done downtown, but you know, i'd get one printed, take a look, it might need adjustment, etc..there's a time factor there with working, etc. and the machine at work offers many variables, so i went with that. so, without further ado, here's my final choices:
the middle one i printed a bit darker, looks good.
and that last one, i'm gonna try a mat with a long thin, vertical panoramic cutout, i think that's really gonna make it stand out. so, thanks again everyone, the response was overwhelming.
