yet another list

been a long week, but yay it's over.
1. i recently talked an elderly couple out of sending 3000 dollars to canada via western union....it's always a sweepstakes scam...i asked them as soon as i saw it was going to canada "is this a sweepstakes?" the guy said yes, that the money was to pay taxes on his "big winnings" " well, if you won all that money, why do you have to send some to THEM?" it's funny, once these people (and it's happened a lot) hear someone ask them that, they kinda realize it was too good to be true.
2. this diary was 5 years old on the 10th, so that's the cutoff date for editing stuff for my "book". i have about 6 more months to go through, and i AM gonna delete a lot of personal stuff, keep it more funny and observational, etc.
3. i'm having a show of 12 photos at "galerie dennis cooper" tomorrow over at
HIS BLOG.
it should be up around noon tomorrow pacific time. the show features nature, nudity, sidewalks, pubes, and more!
4. oh, and a guy from australia who's a regular at cooper's is doing a show in arcata next month, a "house concert"...should be a blast. his music is great, go have a listen HERE.
5. dylan and i are going up to trinidad sunday. we're having a 3 way with jason...no, wait...that's not right...oh yeah, we're having dinner at the seascape, that's it.
6. though i must admit, for the first time in my life i've been thinking seriously what it would be like to play with 2 people at the same time...i don't mean like some wild orgy...just...playing. if it was 2 people that i cared about and trusted, i don't think it would feel slutty at all. pull the couch out into the futon position, spread the sleeping bag out...and kick the cat out, haha! oink oink!
7. did you see that hillary clinton thing, the take-off of the soprano's ending? i thought it was kind of cute. but i'm still not voting for her...i ain't voting for ANYBODY.

ok, that's all for now. i have tons of chores to do tomorrow and saturday....a certain little nag is bugging me to get the garage cleaned out..i have a LOT of plastic and glass to recycle, it's gonna come to a nice little chunk of change :)
