$299 at radio shack...7 inch screen...and then i got some dvd's...the michel gondry one from those director's dvd's ...bjork, white stripes, good stuff...i went to suncoast with nothin' in mind... i need to go look for used ones at figs or something...i also got existenz, ooh, i've gotta show you that, its trippy...and dogma, i'm really into the whole jay and silent bob thing lately...and meet the parents...so, dropped 80 bucks there, sheesh...its my vacation treat i guess.
that player is cool, i've got it next to the bed on my desk...with headphones, the sound is stunning...the speakers are a bit small. it has a remote, and i can hook it up to the tv.
i was looking at sears at the little tv/dvd things, about $170 for those, 13 inch...but the little player has a wide screen, and letterbox on a 13 inch would be kind of tiny...i'm rationalizing it, i guess...oh well, toys for boys ya know!"
