observations
1:31 p.m.

ok, i'm home for lunch...i'm gonna catch up on my notes, and do an update on what i've been up to next time.

saw TWO great bumper stickers the other day..no , wait, three, actually...

"gimme that old-time religion"...with a pentagram on it!

"try to visualize your turn signal"...

and "bush/cheney -1984"...haha!

i'm thinking i should make a nicole brown simpson t-shirt to wear to jury selection on wednesday...would that be a bit much? probably.

i saw pictures of the interiors of two gay married couples' houses recently...geez, you'd think some old grannies lived in 'em...very foo-foo and fussy, it was odd.

i got a great compliment from a customer recently, she praised me to the boss, that was nice. she called corporate and we got a memo that went up in the breakroom...ha! some cash would have been sufficent...riiight.

i never told you i went slightly ballistic on the boss a month ago...i was bangin' on the door, trying to get in, and no one could hear me. he stayed calm while i vented, and that made me feel like shit...i spent the rest of the day apologizing and kissing his ass. oh well.

plastic bags at stores, including ours, are getting thinner and thinner, have you noticed? you can see right through 'em.

a great name i saw last week: "israel knife".

i saw a big fat woman walk out of the store, playing her gameboy...that was sad.

i wish i could fly to ohio to see steve graduate...i could possibly get LAID, too, not with steve, with an awc buddy....hmmm. must keep looking closer to home, right?

all the food they sell at mini-marts are SO bad for you, it's all poison...course, i was buying cigarettes, so who am I to talk, huh?

bob dylan in the new victoria's secret ad? brilliant! i think it's a bit of a joke on his part...we're way beyond "selling out" here...and if i watch enough tv, i can hear blondie, the ramones, the clash, and iggy on commercials....it's cool with me.

i hear "landslide" by fleetwood mac every day at work...it really is the perfect song, stevie's finest moment. "another day" by paul and linda mccartney is another great one, i love it!

i have a note that says "my funky one" and i have no idea what that's about...

saw that kid from gay.com one evening when i was walking. i think he wanted to chat, but i was moving at a good clip...we said "hi, how are ya's" at each other, but i kept moving. i dunno, i got shy...he's too cute and i'm not his type, so...whatever. i'm sure we're gonna get to know each other a bit, he's in the neighborhood a lot. but when someone's nice to me, i get...ideas, haha!

ok, gotta head back...see ya soon!

love,

- m.
