ok, let's see...
tuesday i went down to burlingame...the old house is fucking GONE! there's a new house there...2 suv's, bush bumpersticker...oh well. i didn't feel sad or anything, the house has been gone for years, i'm sure.
came back to the city and went to amoeba...got j-rob a few things, and a few for me...first 2 blondie albums, a cool dub reggae collection, lalala, amoeba is a monster store, you could spend all day there.
got a text from j-rob while out there in the haight, he was bored sitting around his friend's place in oakland and wondered if we could get together later that night..i called him and we made plans. he took BART and got to market st. around 5:30...i walked down bush st. to meet him...oh i almost walked right past him, that was funny...i DID know what he looked like but...all of a sudden, there he was, for real.
we hung out in the room for a couple hrs, smoked some, and just had a mellow time. went up bush for japanese dinner.
oh, before dinner we came down here to print out mapquest directions to his friend's house in oakland...we were trying to figure out how he was gonna get back, if he was gonna take bart, the bus, or if i was gonna take him back...rob said "or, i could stay here and you could behave yourself..."
ha, HA!
so we hung out in the room, chatting and smoking...j-rob's a pretty cool guy, he's been through so much lately, but he seems really strong. we stayed up very late and got up fairly early...

wednesday we got up and headed to sfmoma...got parked in the museum garage... but...the fucking museum is CLOSED on wednesdays! went to the bookstore there, though....oh i could really hurt myself there, amazing stuff.
went to mel's drive-in on van ness for burgers, and headed to the park.
walked around, went to the japanese tea gardens, found rob's favorite little bench-with-a-view that he remembers from a previous trip. god, that place is so serene and beautiful. smoked a joint before we went in there...look, i've got it, and i'm enjoyng it, it's a vacation right? i gave rob half the stuff i brought down with me, so he could check out the local stuff.
took some pics there...gonna post a lot of pics when i get home...
we came back here and goofed off for about 20 minutes...then it was time for him to get going...i'm SO glad he came over tuesday night, we had a whole 24 hrs together.
ok, i need to get ready to check out and get down to cafe claude to meet k. maria for lunch in an hour...
there's a lot more to tell about yesterday, casey got hold of me and got over here around 5:30!
i was wondering if the girls at the front desk were thinking "god, he's taking ANOTHER boy up to his room!" casey and i had a great evening, talking and hanging in the room and roaming the streets nicely toasted. we had a bite to eat. but more on all that tomorrow, or i may write the rest of this when i get home, ok?
