yesterday i went and got a new watch at the mall...went to humboldt state and returned the bag...the boys of academia were distracting...
went to northtown books and got a very good book on the fall, a collection of pieces by richard meltzer, and a biography of alfred lord douglas...oscar wilde's boytoy...
he was the FIRST twink, you know.
oh, right before i left for hsu i got an interesting offer from a local stranger online...it looked real nice, but...nope, no thanks, i could NEVER.
more on that stuff later...maybe. i'm getting messages from local yahoo people lately...i was downright rude to one guy...yeah, later for that.
got brave and went into the local gay.com room, i've been so weird about that...met a friend of a friend, that was cool, nice guy.
today....work. no one does my shit when i'm gone...so i guess i'm needed.
just missed a call from sheila tonight, maggie is at the alice cooper show downtown, she called mom while alice was doing "eighteen"...sheila said she's so proud, hehe!
the soundtrack of my life the past week or so has been bryan ferry's "bete noir"...i'm playing it in the car constantly...it's so lush and sexy. i was shocked when i looked at the cover and saw that it came out in '87, i thought it MIGHT be 10 years old.

going up to hsu sunday to help rob record a sort of sonic collage thingy for a class, should be a blast. i'm gonna get some movie dialog sound bites together...it's supposed to be sort of a spooky sounding halloween type of thing...well, matty and i got a "b" on the essay i helped him with, so... i'm game.
donated 20 bucks to a friend in need this morning, that felt good.
did 7 miles today.
salvaged the polenta mix (the bag got rained on) this morning...made it with peas and parsley and red pepper flakes, turned out pretty good.
miss jabot came in today, i guess she doesn't hate me for not being around...gotta get over there and tell her all about my recent adventures real soon. she gave me a little picture of her and the hubby, that was sweet.
gonna try and take a few days off from the online thing, i have a big photo touch-up job i need to get going on for a customer...
oh, and please go have a look at SW-IOWA 's diary, he's an awc pal, and a real great guy!
