the year in review

ok, i'm on lunch here, let's see if i can recap what has certainly been the best year of my life...
i'm down 40 lbs. from 2 yrs ago...i'm getting compliments from people i hardly know. that is really gratifying.
i have walked 1850 miles this year. that's 5.0546448 miles per day..about from here to tijuana and back!
there was a little incident back in april that really kicked my ass into gear..i felt very left out of some fun some friends were having...i LET myself feel hurt, but it was all in my mind. in the end it was a very good thing...i love those boys a lot!
going to s.f for the first time in 16 yrs. really rocked...july to meet jrob, sept. to see steve, oct. to see the new york dolls...

morrissey, for getting the new york dolls to reunite (r.i.p. arthur kane), getting sparks to perform the entire "kimono my house" album, rejuvinating the career of nancy sinatra, and having a hand in getting the music of jobriath out on cd finally.
meeting jason was a real highlight...the trip to the lake...numerous dinners...long talks, shared interests...an incredible guy. i got him into joni mitchel, and he's getting my ass to the gym!
i miss casey so much. what a joy it would be to have him back at work...love ya boy!
steve and i have been through a lot this year...late night phone calls...boy talk.

went on some great walks in the country...arcata bottoms, jacoby creek, freshwater, south jetty, elk river, headwaters, fern canyon..
can't wait to go hiking again...maybe me, dan, kevin and jason, woohoo!

had a sorta red-hot cyber thing with joey from chicago, that was really interesting...
i kissed or was kissed by 4 boys this year...errmmm...yeah, lets just leave it at that.
a straight boy offerd to kiss me, but that was just because i came up with a brilliant idea.
i kissed a lesbian on the back of the neck and she got MAJOR goosebumps!
i think the theme of the past year has to be "what is life without adventure?"
indeed.
i didn't have sex this year, that's ok with me.
i think maybe i'm a halfway decent cuddler, though.
that wank weekend with jrob was just boy fun, we both needed it.
