human touch

a very goofing-off weekend...endless rain. thunder. hail. snow in the hills.
went to the movie with jason last night, good flick. i went and got him, the movie was down here, so...HA HA! that was 100 miles by the time i got home. he's worth it.
after the movie i had a surprise for him in the glove compartment, a cd of harpsichord music. he just got a new stereo system, one of those bose things, it sounds great.
oh, and on the way down i played him some stuff off after the gold rush, and explained that "only love can break your heart" was written for graham nash about his time with joni..see, jason had loved "willie" by joni, which she wrote about nash, and i told him a few weeks ago that nash had witten "our house" about joni!
went back to his place and listened to the harpsichord thing, that cecilia bartoli cd (Italian Art songs of the 17th century) some edith piaf, and the 2 early joni's that he bought that i don't know well. had the lights down, just the glow form the neon clock. nice and cozy. talked and stuff for hours. always something new to discover, i like that.
new roads. maps commited to memory. one foot in front of the other.
did some stretching and a few yoga moves. the gym awaits!
the age diff cetainly isn't a factor, i think we meet somewhere in the middle.
i'm confused sometimes, but i'm not asking any questions right now. i like what we have.
i mean, i actually SAID that, so...it's all good.
got home at 4:30, wow!
today, chatted with jason, sw, rush, jamie, paul, matty. oh, and dan, who thanked me for keeping kev "entertained" on friday! kev might have a dinner party soon, i can't wait to see their house.
jason on awc: "oh, you'll go back!"
ehh, nope, don't think so. though i will miss the room, some great times there.
but...real life, remember?

still cleaning, sorting through junk... ugh.
