wednesday
12:38 a.m.

welcome back, kiwi..."hi homo's" indeed!

we missed you, girl!

ok, a few things from some scribbled notes...

chatted with peter this morning, he was in geneva, la dee da! taking a train to rome, might buy a suit in milan. i'm supposed to take some pics of him when he gets back :)

and this afternoon, waited on 2 cute guys with accents...they were from switzerland, haha! a bit of synchronicity there.

i waited on a woman called "nicole simpson" today...

some boy i waited on today asked me "are you alright?"
i think he was stoned, but still...hmmm.

AM i alright?

yeah, sure...a bit of limbo is all.

met a great guy online last night.

a stocky little fillipino, nice kid. down in petaluma. unlocked a private pic for him. likes older guys. we talked for a bit. i got VERY hard.

"kid"...27, not...14, ok?

you're ALL kids to me!

flirted with bill the magazine guy at work...i can't tell what kind of poon he likes. we talked a lot, i asked a lot of questions.

and went to see my super tall boy at vid store, he asked how dinner went! think he might not be gay cuz he didn't know pride was coming up. hmmm. he was working with that english skinhead guy i see at work. oh fuck, they were playing the first killing joke album, so we all bonded over that!

that was fun...i need to start renting movies more, haha!

work sucked, i was stressed.

god, peter is lucky he hasn't been around lately, haha!

just kidding, i think.

wanna go to dinner with him when he gets back.

have thursday off, so i left a message on kev's work phone, i wanna know if they're going to the men's dinner thing thursday night. i've never been. dan wants to know how my dinner went too...dinner i remember. after is kind of a blur, actually.

told j if he wants to hang out, let me know when. i said i want to see his bees and he said "you will."

ok.

i have to let go of what i can't control, right?

indeed.

this is from "the weekend" by peter cameron, which i finished in bed last night...

"there are things you lose you do not get back. you cannot have them, ever again, except in the smudging carbon copy of memory. there are things that seem irreconcilable that you must find a way to reconcile with. the simple passage of days dulls the sharpness of the pain, but it never wears it out: what gets washed away in time gets washed away, and then you are left with a hard cold nub of something, an unloseable souvenir. a little china dachshund from the white mountains. a shadow puppet from bali. look - an ivory shoehorn from a four-star hotel in zurich. and here, like a stone i carry everywhere, is a bit of someone's heart i have saved from a journey i once made."

wow.

alright...that's all for now.

love ya's,

- MICHAEL
