ok, i've been waiting for my aids candle banners i made to run their course...48 clicks out of 4000 views...eh.

ok, just a few quick things...
got my picture monday, turned out awesome. the gunmetal frame was a perfect chioce.
went to the museum yesterday on my lunch hour to drop it off. the lady in front of me had a painting of a frog on a lillypad!
after i registered i took the pic to the gallery, so i got to see some other submissions. hmm, lots of pretty pictures, flowers, etc. the only stuff i really liked were a few other b&w photos...go figure!
i mean, i think mine really stood out, but i just can't be objective about my own work. of course i think it's good or i wouldn't bother.
tomorrow i go down to see if my name is posted in the window...
getting ready to join the redwood art association too, they do like 3 shows a year, and one of those is at the museum.
talked to steve a lot over the weekend, we were having a ball, more movie talk, etc. we really click on a lot of cultural stuff. that means a lot to me. and we can flirt and get a little...personal without it being raunchy. much much fun!
i hope he can get up here saturday for the opening, IF i make the cut. i told him if i actually WON something i would need a big gay kiss! he said "oh, should i bend you backwards?" i said "yeah, and i'll kick back one of my legs!"
we had a lunchtime chat today...he's registered for his classes for next semester..damn, the guy's gonna be busy. it stresses me out just a bit. to meeet someone so cool with so little free time...major suckage, ya know? i mean, i'm an eager beaver, but there's some big parameters there, re: his schedule..hmmmm and hmmm.
he's been looking into several teaching programs, china, taiwan, indonesia...you HAVE to have a masters to teach in japan, there's no way around it.
he really has the next few years mapped out, and i admire that. and i know he sees a serious relationship as a really hard thing right now, but...i dunno....what do i want?
there's all kinds of relationships, right?
but we've talked about all that, it's all good. i have no agenda, as i said...
you never know what can happen...yay, life!
oh, and he sent me his psych paper that he finished this weekend. it was an autobiography project. good stuff.
at work we have the coolest salvation army bellringer. this beautiful black boy. he stands out there, dances and sings, people are really loving him. yesterday he BROKE his bell, that's how much fun he's having. and someone from the paper was out there today interviewing him! you should SEE some of the creepaziods they send us...i hope he's gonna be around a lot, but they tend to rotate them.
god, the men for men page on our local craiglist is FULL of "straight" men looking to get off with othere "straight" men....whatever.
i was charming everyone today, it was weird.
i've been doing more video stuff. creating and editing. i'll show you something next time.
