god, this week has been LONG!
went into the gaydot room for a bit last night. stayed away for 10 days. same old shit, the loooong pauses, i got a bit pissy and left.
"if this room was real life i'd shoot myself in the face."
dylan came to see me at work yesterday, but he couldn't find me. i was there. somewhere. so i STILL dunno what he looks like. i'm sure we'll meet soon. his emails have been sweet, his english is really charming.
if i had my own store, i would hire a clown with loud horns and whistles to go make noises around people yakkin' on their cell phones...people have gotten so rude in the last few years. but i really can't say what i'd like to.
and if i had a big party here and someone started talking on their phone i would say "sorry, you can't do that in here, could you step outside?"
ya know, like people do with smokers.
it's just so weird to me that people don't seem to know they're being rude...i wait on people who talk on the phone while i'm waiting on them.
oh well.
mr. heim just sent me a pdf of the cover of his new book, which he's almost done with, and which will be out early next year. wow, i feel special! that was the boner of the week, for sure! but it's still sorta top secret, so i can't show you, ha! but it's really beautiful. simple, direct and powerful.
he's such a sweetheart. if he gets to SF next year to do a reading, i'm SO there!
oooohhh! i had the best soda the other night....from safeway. the o organics brand blood orange italian soda. bubbly, a bit sweet, but it's got real sugar in it...tangy and delicious! still diggin' the veggie burgers.
