all better now...
9:34 p.m.
the patient seems none the worse for wear.
bringing him home was a comedy of errors...first there was a firetruck with sirens roaring past us on the highway...then when i got to the top of the hill, as i turned onto fairfield, the cat carrier toppled off the seat onto the floor! good lord!
but we got home in one piece...the boy was STARVING! he wasn't really groggy, just moving a little slow. not too affectionate. he went outside for a while, then came back in and slept.
his whole tail is bandaged...
it looks like he's got a tampon sticking out of his butt! but he's in no pain as far as i can tell, and he doesn't seem to notice the antibiotics i have to put in his food.
i was wondering about that hairless patch on his front leg, i thought maybe he rubbed it in the carrier, but joyce at work said thay must have shaved it for the IV drip.
and i imagine his whole tail is shaved under that bandage, i'll find out monday when they take it off. it's gonna look goofy!
it's funny, last week i did a very short video of his tail wagging, weird.
so anyhoo, things are pretty much back to normal here...
ok, runway is on soon...looks like some drama tonight, yay!
