we went to arts alive tonight...but first...

first time in a long long time i haven't had a goatee. it will return as soon as possible. you should have seen the "old man" pics i deleted.
saw this guy on the way downtown:
got to the graves, had to get a pic of my photo with the red "sold" dot on it ;)
talked to some nice ladies who really liked my pic.
the new show was this series of pics of abstract patterns and markings on pavement...they were cool, i could totally relate, but god, they were so dark, and in these huge black frames. i was really disappointed.
hit all the regular spots...piante, first street, accident...most had the same show as last month, and the turnout was the smallest i've seen in a long time. but that was nice, actually.

and i have a bunch more to edit. it felt good to get some good pics, it's been a while.
after all the art, went grocery shopping. the 2 of us, one cart....hehe, like a little gay couple. came home and heated up some deli orange chicken and noodles for the boy. watched the end of some goofy dragon movie.
i might fix us steaks tomorrow.
last night some fools about 2 blocks from here set off some really beautiful fireworks into the sky. i ran to get my camera to do a video but it was over fast. a big smoke cloud drifted through the neighborhood.
working on a cool series of songs right now....all dub reggae stuff. i think i'll actually be releasing something before the end of the year. i really do learn something every time i use garageband, it's obvious to me at least.
2 more days off... chores around here tomorrow so i can have a nice chill day on monday.
time to get into bed with a random office dvd. that was one of the best gifts ever, when dyl got me all 3 seasons, as far as how much i watch them. i got all caught up with season 4 on hulu.com, but i'll still buy it when it comes out.
