ok, here's the deal...i'm almost out of image space here. but i have this other diary i've used for fooling around with html. (it's where i built THIS template) but i've kept that one locked. so since the other one has image storage cuz it's also a gold account, i tried to upload an image there and post it here. when i did that, it asked me for the password to that diary to be able to see the image here. (have i lost you yet?) so i unlocked it, and now i can store images there and stick 'em up here! i also put that bookmarklet feature that i never really understood into my favorites list on my browser, so now i can switch between the two diaries quickly. that means i have a whole extra image storage space to fill up! so here's the image...it's my favories gerhard richter painting...some of you may recognize it as the cover of sonic youth's "daydream nation"...

oh, geez, i just heard that herb ritts died...go HERE to see some of his great photos. (click on "enter the exibition".)
and i just don't know what to say about joe strummer...it's sad, he seemed to really enjoy what he's been doing the last couple of years. i haven't really been following his newer stuff, but what a voice...go find "white man in hammersmith palais", or "garageland"...oh, god that first clash album...i don't wanna think about it right now. so, no clash reunion at the rock 'n roll hall of fame, just like last year with the ramones, no joey, and then dee dee dying so soon after that...he was SO funny at the induction thing, and looked so cool in his red suit...i'm kinda surprised he lasted as long as he did...
hmm, have the new york dolls ever been up for induction? gotta check that out...
