working on and off with the new boi today...he's got a bit of the gay accent, but not lispy or anything...he just sounds...sensitive!
i sound like a BIG GIRL on my answering machine sometimes...telemarketers have called me "ma'am"..i HATE that. but the voice that reverberates in my head sounds ok to me...whatever.
a customer talked to the boss about me, about how i went beyond the call of duty helping with his photo problems...that's a gross exaggeration, but, hey. he even called corporate and now there's a memo about my fine work up in the lunchroom...i'm taking it down when i leave tonight...the customer told me he has a problem with women with attiudes, but i didn't really help him any more than the ladies did, so...hmmm. but that's the second time in the last few months that someone's talked to the boss about me...it feels good.
anyone see the osbournes last night? poor ozzy, he was trying to show sharon the lyrics he just wrote, and she was busy on the phone. then later he called her and attempted to read her the lyrics while she was picking out a fucking couch or something...she wasn't paying attention to him. i felt bad for ozzy.
oh, god...courtney love was on too! jack was hanging out at her house...i was in here, kinda half-listening to the tv in the living room, and i thought "hey, that's gotta be courtney's voice!" now WHY don't they do an anna nicole-type show with mrs. cobain? THAT would be interesting. she's got like all these teen girls living with her, employees, i guess. jack's trying to get cozy with that cute blonde. courtney looked kind of hot in her black tights and spike heels.
and jee? on big brother 4? yes, please...with a side-order of ace from rwp. haha, there's an article in the new advocate called "10 reasons gays chase straights". gonna read that tonight...
at this very minute, a friend is having an in-person meet-up with and old semi-crush from high school...i TOLD you instant messaging rocked.
the other night matt and i were chatting, and he gave me the idea of looking up LOCAL yahoo groups...haha! some funny stuff, everything under the sun. there's one group called "humboldtcirclejerk"...here's a typical message..."Would any guys like to meet in Sequoia Park for mutual suck-offs in the woods this weekend?" hmmm, think i'll pass.
and last night i was looking at local yahoo profiles (with pictures)...didn't really see anyone i know...oh, and there was this other group, some sort of meet-up thing, and the woman pictured on the front page was SCARY! what was the other one? oh yeah, "humboldtbimarriedmen"...i wasn't JUST looking at sex-related groups...ok? like i said, a liitle bit of everything was represented. gonna have to do some more exploring, it's fun.
ok, work beckons...oh, i suddenly realized last night that my friends aren't coming up THIS weekend, it's NEXT weekend...so i have a whole week to get the house looking pretty...
