wow...got 2 songs of p-rob's this week...great stuff! and tonight jr pops up in chat...he's been doing some recording....finally! i'm so jazzed! he sent me 2 songs, too. the long dark one, called, uh, "dark" is really something...oh, it's so great to hear people doing stuff...i've been thinking i should get my guitar up and running, it just needs a little work....i'm just not into the keyboard right now...i think i wanna make up some weird tunings like joni does and just fucking DO something...i HAVE a little studio 8-track cassette thing here, i've just never used it.
BUT...also, i think it's time to get a digital camera...i keep seeing things that would make great photos...i'm thinking in black and white...
but ever since hearing p-rob's song "another dimension"...oooh, yeah, get that guitar goin'!

jr's going to see simon and garfunkle next week, his second big concert...the first was the strokes in
l.a. last year...i saw them on conan the other night, i dunno, they just don't do much for me, they seem so stiff.
a friend at work saw simon and garfunkle a few weeks ago in the bay area, that show got a good review in the paper...they brought out the everly brothers for a few songs, the everly's did some of their hits...they were a big influence on s&g in the early days...the funny thing is, i was certain that one of the everly brothers had died a few years ago....nope!
p-rob and i are gonna be talking on the phone soon...there's too much to talk about, and chat is just so slow sometimes...oh fuck, you should see his couch! boner time, again...
i mean,...he's got that in his fucking HOUSE!

oh, and by the way...i'm so fucking SICK of shoplifters...someone stole about 6 copies of "terminator 3" today...on vhs, haha! i told the boss they'll probably be for sale at the flea market on saturday. we think some dvd's got lifted the day before...sorry, ahhh-nold!
i still can't think about the govenor without laughing...
