getting closer...

a beautiful day today...really hot for october.
went up to jason's tonight, tried on the backpack, made a list of stuff i need to get. talked about what we're gonna eat.
if the weather holds we're gonna go to tangle blue lake. if it gets too cold, we will go to redwood national park...different kind of scenery, but still beautiful.
we set up the tent on his front lawn, it takes like 2 minutes. it's gonna be...cozy. you can zip open the top and look at the stars.
i took some stuff for him...court and spark, flypaper, that little hoover vacuum measuring tape thing i got him on ebay, some coffee from the triton, and home made chicken soup.
ended up going down to denny's in mckinleyville to eat. lousy service...our waitress was busy giving the boss a shoulder rub instead of seeing if j. wanted dessert.
he got a sundae, eventually.
we talked a lot.
getting to know someone better is fun. he's really an amazing guy.
