update
12:10 a.m.
been an interesting few days.
called in sick wednesday, like i said. thursday i was off too, the boss called and gave me it off, it was slow, and i have lots of vacation time.
thursday night i went and hung out with my new friend peter.
i met him at kevin and dan's, at that dinner j and i went to.
we had a lot of stuff we could talk about. he's been sober almost 7 yrs. he had some pretty amazing stories. interesting selection of movies and music. everyone is so different, isn't that cool?
spent the night and a good part of the early morning talking and getting to know each other. i didn't get to bed until after 3am.
new friends are good. peter is really sweet...and cute. he's 38. working and going to school. i do believe we're gonna hang out again.
friday met j for a quick lunch in arcata. he walked down from work and i drove him back up the hill. stopped by ricky's office and hung for a bit. god, he has the most beautiful pale blue eyes...and i told him so!
caught a cold, it's nothing major. i've been so fucking stressed the last few weeeks, my defenses are down, i'm sure. but i kinda feel like a zit has been popped, i'm feeling a lot calmer.
i've stated my case regarding certain things. that's all i can do.

as always, the little things mean a lot, and you never know where they're gonna come from. that's fun.
so, spent a few days on the couch, reading. haven't been walking much, i'll catch up.
