more good advice...i guess :)
"try to imagine him as perfect creation of a loving god unfolding in the moment, he's right on schedule his schedule not yours and your just an actor in the play not the director. if you can do this you'll feel better he will respond in his own way to the sense that you do love him. he'll want to spend more time with you he'll value you more because he will feel peace coming from you ACCEPTANCE coming from you, right now he feels your angst, he senses that he is some how making you uncomfortable. if you want to love him you have to accept him in the moment or you will lose him as a friend and you will be uncomfortable for a really long time take my word for it. pray ever day to for acceptance of him his short coming are between him and god. also do not tell him your praying for him just do it, and he will grow up like the rest of us have had to and you'll get the privilege of being his friend and watching him unfold in his own way and some day i promise you if you do a really good job at accepting him unconditionally he will feel so comfortable with you he will come to you with his problems and you will be able to help him. love makes people comfortable and at peace because it has no judgments, selfishness says you're not how I think you should be, and that drives people away."
hmmm, well, i'd still like things MY way, haha!
