work, work, work.
the week is flying by.
excerpt from a letter to steve the other day:
"i decided against a dvd recorder right now, i just dont want to deal with it, the vcr records, thats fine for me. you will laugh when you see how it barely fits in my entertainment center, its the same size screen as i had before, but damn, it was close! the only drawback is when the vcr or dvd dies, then, i'll pretty much have to get a new tv....whatever, i just wanted it as simple as possible.
went and had my eye exam, new glasses soon, 2 pairs!
then to borders....bought some magazines and errrr...a few dvds.
got the bette davis one i love, all about eve.
and an offbeat comedy called slums of beverly hills i wanna show you some time.
got the strangers with candy box set, oh wow it has tons of extras! thats the one that looks like a little trapper keeper binder, hilarious!
AND.....found a john waters box set, 7 films and a dvd of extra stuff....a good mix of his early and later films...
it came to 209, then the lovely armando (mmmm, short, latino, yum!) checked and i had a personal shopping day discount, and some other discount points to redeem...so it got down to 175! oh well merry xmas me!
then to BK for a little indulgence to bring home....so..its a shitty wet windy day, and im gonna lounge around and watch movies!
so, maybe some time fairly soon.. :) we can watch a few"
speaking of the boy...look, i can call him that, he's YOUNGER!..he stopped by work today after his psych final...i'm sure he aced it! damn, that was a treat. i saw that sweater down the aisle and knew it was him. had him try the shiatsu massage chair. i guess sitting on his lap would have been bad form at work, huh?
rainy here. supposed to be 50-60 mph winds tonight.
had a customer with the last name of "deny"...so weird.
our xmas trees sold out last weekend. i was stocking xmas lights most of the day.
found a few more old friends on myspace, it's so handy.
last night me and a friend from australia (hmmmm) watched a sexy italian man in a hotel in china have a little fun. how futuristic!
the clay aiken christmas special is on...guests include barry manilow and megan mullaly...i need to go puke my gay guts out.
