got a card in the mail from kiwi, all the way from NZ! i need to get her package together, she's gonna get the pic that was in the museum.
got some money from some friends i gave a loan to a while back...thanks boys! glad i could help out.
something funny from the local police log: "10:55 p.m. A man was arrested at E Street and Wabash Avenue on suspicion of being drunk in public after being reported to be having a dispute with himself."
macka is going to NZ and china next month for work. i'm crossing my fingers for SF!
wow, a great lunch hour yesterday! soon as i got home, the phone rang, it was steve. he was in town and he said he had a little something for me. he dropped by with a borders gift card, yay! we watched another episode of strangers with candy, had a nice snog on the couch, and a half hour later i was back at work!
did i mention he's learning madarin? i think he's set his goal for teaching in taiwan in 2009. i turned him on to some jeff buckley vids, and he devoured the sedaris book i gave him.
last year i passed on it, but i think 2006 deserves a year-in-review entry. stay tuned.
so, i went to borders last night, got best in show on dvd, and some magazines. shitty weather here, so i'll be on the couch if you need me!
