when i finished this at 3am yesterday morning
it felt like the most brilliant thing i've ever done, haha!
almost 24 hrs later, it now feels merely awsome :)
i don't go into garageband with anything planned, i just see what sounds good.
it sounds like primus or the chili peppers, very different for me. most of the stuff i've been doing has been more ambient or dub-sounding. i think it sounds like a good piece to open a cd with...

taking 2 pics to the museum friday to submit for the images of water show.
working on a piece for the junke arte show in october..i took a very nice looking branch from my hedge (it looks more like a small tree), took all the leaves and smaller branches off, sprayed it with copper paint. gonna have it set in an old paint can (painted black) with plaster or cement to hold it in place. then i'll take some pennies soaked in lemon juice and vinegar (to give them a nice green patina) and i'm gonna glue those to the top of the plaster in the can so the trunk will be coming out of the pennies.... i'll send a pic when it's a little further along.
i'm going through such �a creative period, it's wonderful. not getting enough sleep, though.
had a short but nice chat with val today.
maybe phone me tomorrow night? dyl has traffic school and i'll be hangin' out here...
