hi there!
just got done with a 4 day weekend. got lots of yardwork done...cleared out the flowerbed in front of the house, that lavender was huge. now it's very small and zen looking! planted marigolds, snapdragons. lobellia, allysum, etc.
got a good chunk of the ivy chopped down. gonna borrow a ladder from jack next door for the stuff i can't reach.
my zuchinni is getting big..well, there not really big yet, but i can tell they've grown since we planted. one plant on the end is getting eaten by the bugs, snails, i guess. no biggie, the others are doing great.
today is the first, the new cell phone went into law. no hand helds while driving. first offense is 20 bucks, then 50 after that. so i put the bumpersticker i made at zazzle.com on the back of my car: "no hand held phones while driving. it's the law!"
it's a real pet peeve of mine, obviously!
oh, i got a picture accepted in the images of water show at the museum...that's the third year in a row, and the 5th show i've been in, yay me!
finally did something with those pics of the graffiti down at the ruins of the shipwreck tourist place:
i really like that song. i started that the other afternoon when mike (tallboy) stopped by. i was showing him garageband..now HE wants a mac!
he has some drum loops and stuff he gonna bring over for me to play with.
i rented on dvd of planet earth...ice caves and whatnot. looks interesting.
ok, gonna run. maybe some pictures next time, mmmmkay?
