CATCHIN' UP WITH KSTYLE
1:18 p.m.

three day weekend-yay!put up a guestbook in the art gallery-check it out...

spent hours last night doing some intensive jt leroy research. he's back from europe-left a note at his diary-as if i'm gonna hear from him-he must get so many people BOTHERING him...

going up to rob's now(on my new bike!) to help him move some more stuff to storage-he's moving to portland tomorrow, the FUCKER! later i'll tell you about our afternoon at the cemetery...

----------------

i'm always surprised by people i see at work, the ones i assume are borderline retarded or something, and then a few days later i see them driving down the street!

----------------

from a box of celestial seasonings tea:"the best things in life aren't things." i cut that out and carried it around in my wallet for years...

------------

gotta go- running late,as usual. will pick this up later..

well i'm back. it's 2am now, wide awake and ready to do a little writing...

------------------------

have been helping rob over the last few days, moving some stuff to the storage place...his space is upstairs, in a long hallway full of small roll-up doors. very futuristic and kind of eerie. the other day, after moving some stuff, we went to the cemetery, cuz rob had never been to the mausoleum before..it's one of my favorite places-i don't find it morbid at all. it's very peaceful and serene. i showed him where my parent are, up in the top row (i call it the cheap seats). down further in that hallway is winnie, who was my mom's best friend in s.f. in the 50's, when they both worked in the credit bureau. winnie later moved up here and lived across the street from my dad,who was single and had been living in this house with his maternal grandparents, who had both passed away by '55. winnie was having a big party, and invited my mom up, telling her "jeannie, there's a real nice guy across the street you should meet!" at the time, my mom was still living with her folks and her twin brother john down in burlingame. she was in her mid-30's at the time. well, to cut to the chase, two months later my parents got married in s.f. at dad's aunt hester's house. so ,when i go to visit my parent's graves, i always stop by and say hi to winnie-i owe my very existence to her! she was the only "grandma" i ever had. i still have all the letters my mom and dad wrote to each other-some day i'd like to do something with them, like a little book (or perhaps a website).here's a little picture for ya.............. yep, that's me and winnie...if you look closely, right under the "1958", you can see some windows in the house across the street. that's the room i'm in RIGHT NOW, furiously typing away!

ya know,i'm pretty tired, it's 3:30am now, think me and kitty are gonna hit the hay...will continue this tomorrow, i kind of got off track..tomorrow i'll tell you about how we found rob's grandpa's grave- i guess "LATE grandpa's grave" would have been a tad redundant...let me leave you with one more picture...

that's rob and yours truly. i tweeked our appearance a bit cuz i was afraid all our good looks in one place might blow up your monitor. c u 2morrow-ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
