speaking of madonna, here's a brief excerpt from the review of her new film "swept away" in this morning's san francisco chronicle that was pretty accurate concerning her movie career...
"The movie concentrates instead on the romance, and there's not much to it. They're stuck on a deserted island. What else are they going to do? Actually, that might explain Madonna's interest in the role -- it's the one context in which she can be believable as a romantic lead: The guy can't get off the island."
madonna responds: "ok, how about i just show you my still excellent 44-year-old ta-ta's instead? will that make you people happy?"
