well, i should have called that list "things to do THIS WEEK"...got my packages mailed, and sent one book back...guess i'll have to pay postage on the one i opened. (god, what an exciting life i lead...) all of a sudden it got too dark to do any yardwork. the new pants? nope. vacuuming? maybe later...hey, it's my weekend, ok? walked almost 3 miles, though, so THAT'S something accomplished...bought some more warhol stamps, have you seen 'em? they're WAY cool...
they're the self-adhesive kind, and come on a sheet with a big picture of andy that you can peel off. there's a diamond-shaped reflector sign on a pole sticking out of the sidewalk in front of my house, so i stuck andy on the back of that. now whenever i come out of the house, there he is, looking at me...
i wish they would do a set of stamps of warhol paintings...the flowers, the soup can, THE COW!, marilyn... oh that would be so nice... i know the post office takes suggestions...wonder if you have to get a petition going or something...
i saw the strangest thing last week...one of those early snl's on E! it was the show that o.j. simpson hosted! he came out and did the monologue with a conehead, uh, head on! very surreal...
something i left off my chores list was to put some new handles on the hot and cold faucets in the shower. the ones i have are kind of loose, i really have to grip 'em hard to turn on the water. mind you, i bought new handles several weeks ago...ok, i might be back later if there's any more excitement around here...
oh, yeah, i got my scanner hooked back up, will tackle the printer next. so i scanned a pic of my desk and put it up on the "d-land cribs" page...go take a look...
