rob came over tonight...we missed a box of his books that was still in my garage...we did a good three mile walk. my little white suzuki swift is still down on broadway, just waiting for me to get off my ass and buy it...
when we got back to my house, the stones' concert was on hbo...fuck they sound SO great! so strong and tight, they've still got it. keith did a song called "thru and thru" that was absolutely stunning. it's off "voodoo lounge", i don't think i'd ever heard it before. i really don't know those later albums that well. but yeah, they were just amazing...oh i could go on and on about that whole "too old" thing...well, actually i guess i have before, haven't i? i hope they keep going another 10 years...it doesn't sound silly like it once did...
