this might be another big one...
12:26 p.m.

the stupidest thing i've heard in a long time: on saturday i was driving back to work after lunch and was listening to the NASA press conference. a reporter asked "can you tell us how the crew members' families are coping right now?"

how do you think, asshole?

ain't that america?

sadly, yes.

tv stuff:

cnn let elizabeth taylor say "shit" on larry king last night...unbleeped.

have you seen that new shania twain video? it's this weird, over-the- top sci-fi thing, kinda like "tron" or something. she looks so..unreal. i think she's a fembot. they made her teeth so white, the whole thing is just too strange.

i LOVE the new missy elliot video, "gossip folks". those little girls breakdancing, it's too much! i really wanna get some of her albums, her stuff is so original, and the videos are always cutting edge in my book.

and have you seen that ad for that video game with the girls in bikinis playing volleyball on the beach? there's all these guys watching it, and at the end of the commercial they get so excited by this one girl stretching that they all put pillows over their crotches, implying...uh, well, boners! how does something like that get the ok?

and, ok, i finally watched a bit of "american idol". it's kind of painful, and i'm already SICK of simon. but how can people be so blind to how untalented they are? i mean, some of those people really thought they were hot shit...

ATTENTION ROADIEPIG:

i finally updated "site of the week"! sorry that took so long! it's the index page for a site called "the word detective". there's a list of words and phrases that we use everyday (well, some of them are pretty archaic). people write in and ask about the origin of words...i REALLY dig this kind of thing...hope you all enjoy it.
