i should be in bed
1:47 a.m.

this is what i'm into tonight...

they did a kind of brazillian easy-listening music in the 60's...they covered lots of the big hits of the day, beatles, simon and garfunkle...it was so unhip for so long that right now it sounds like the coolest thing going! 2 girl singers, lots of percussion...oh god, they did witchita lineman! they managed to sound very ethnic, yet it was somehow the WHITEST music around...check it out if you can, it's smoooooth, baby.

and a little while ago i was dancing around, peeking around the corner at the cat and singing along with the ramones' "i remember you"...he was looking at me like i was a lunatic. god, those first few albums were pure genius...they kind of set these parameters for themselves, a framework that they would work in, and still dabbled in oldies, beach boys harmonies, ballads...yet it was always the ramones....those songs are like little, oh, i dunno what to say...ha! i give up!

i was emailing trevor tonight to see if it was ok that i showed someone his picture... see, he chatted with a friend of mine last night who told him "oh, i already saw your picture!"...and just as i was about to send the letter, he beeped me on yahoo, which i don't really use, and the noise scared the shit out of me! that's a different sound than the AIM one, that's for sure! so we had a nice chat...our first. nice guy.

it looks like i don't have to get up at 5 a.m. on sunday mornings any more...i'll be running camera all by myself instead...a mixed blessing. it was nice getting off at 3 p.m., especially when my days off were monday and tuesday, but right now i'm getting off thursdays and fridays, so it's not a big deal.

rob went bike-riding.

steve went dancing.

goose is at the grandparent's house.

i stayed home and stole money out of starving musician's pockets all evening. finding stuff i haven't heard for 20-25 years.

oh, and that fishtank IMviroment thing on yahoo chat is cool, but i think it's weird that the person you're talking to has to look at it too, so i turned it off.

we have a freckle-faced high school boy doing work experience at the store...ha! we don't even have to pay him...i came up with a new term for lads like that..."he doesn't have a mark on him." eyecandy has no calories, ya know.

what a perv...
