mr. happy guy...that's me!
3:59 a.m.

i'm STILL doing great...in a good mood.

i finally hit the i've-lost-20-lbs. mark, that was nice...

we got our new shirts at work this week, they're polo-type shirts, gray...no more white shirt and tie! and no more gay little blue vest! i felt almost skinny in it...it certainly added to my good mood this week.

casey's gonna look good in his, he IS skinny. we had a little boy-talk yesterday, that was fun...we were enjoying some pics of shirtless frat boys getting drunk and clowning around.

yes, we DO comment on your pictures...just not when you're around.

that new outkast song is SO good, i may have to get that album.

i hope no one was watching the cam the last hour or
so, i forgot to lock it up...sheesh. some 22-yr. old kid from new york thought i was CUTE, and, well...

i SAID i wasn't gonna talk about that shit, so...ok.

had a great time after work yesterday...i went to borders to see if they had tonight's the night by neil young...but no, they didn't have it. is that one of the ones not out on cd yet?

instead, i bought the re-issues of the first two
television albums...

oh, yumyumyum! bonus tracks, alternate takes, and finally, "little johnny jewel" on cd!

i played 'em in the car, and instead of heading home,
i turned south and got on the highway...i went all the
way to fortuna! i actually got goosebumps when the guitar solo on "see no evil" kicked in! oh, god, could i write a long thing about how important these albums
are to me.....hmmm, i'm gonna go look for a certain picture, i'll be back...

ok, i scanned this from the marquee moon cd...

that's tom verlaine and richard lloyd...what a cool picture...

kids, this is a band that broke up in 1978! they came back for another album in the early 90's, and actually
are on tour right now.

anyone who considers themselves a fan of the electric guitar should own these albums...patti smith
was right, verlaine played guitar "like a thousand bluebirds screaming".

i started wearing these cheap black canvas old-man style shoes cuz i always saw pictures of verlaine
wearing them!

for more info, please check this out:
"tell a vision: the unified field of tom verlaine".

ok, that's all for now...

love ya, michael
