i'm always reading 3 or 4 books at once- right now it's a little jt leroy ,a biography of jean-michel basquiat(and a BIG book of his paintings),and two anthologies of gay and lesbian writers on life during junior high school,one (queer 13) which was great,and another(telling tales out of school) which was not so great...here's a basquiat for ya-
well,that's about it for now-as far as i know,so far there's only 4 people whose eyes have landed here-so,sleep tight,k.,doug,rob,and lora--gotta dig up some visitors this week-have more people to email,and some d-landers to introduce myself to--i stumbled across inarticulate's diary the other night-over 500 entries! GOOD GOD Y'ALL! that's a book in my book! then i noticed she was one of in-my-life's fave diaries, so THAT figured,another strong writer-THESE ARE SOME COOL WOMEN! kstyle says check 'em out!
doctor's appointment tomorrow 8:30am,then work,then 2 days off,would be nice to get a lot of writing done, do some weeding in the veg garden,and get going on a little d-land self promotion..we'll see what happens..stay tuned...
