up late...again
3:36 a.m.

i think my font-search for entries is done.

it's not black, but almost...a very dark gray.

had the car checked today...they tightened up the back brakes or something...it still sometimes makes that noise a little when i come to a complete stop, but i think it depends on how i actually apply pressure to the pedal...oh, i dunno what i'm saying here! whatever, it's better.

talked to keith in oregon last night, that was fun.

helped steve with his homework online tonight, sorta...

fell in love at the grocery store tonight... this almost skinhead-looking guy, kinda stocky... buzzed head, sideburns...a redhead! i see him at work a lot...mr.serious, almost...morose! we kept running into each other, and i got behind him in line so i could look a little more...i almost said "hi".

pathetic, i know.

but i KNOW he knows sean, the super-gay from the record store...sean, who i think thought rob and i were a couple (until i told him we were BROTHERS, that kinda threw him off...)

oh, that's a whole entry in itself...soon, i promise. maybe i can get rob to give his take on it...

the last time keith and i talked, we were talking about how all the guys are wearing carhart stuff now...it's so butch...and i said it was "prada for straight men". keith said it was "prada for the workin' man". even better...

and some guy in one of rob's classes said that people who wear mullets don't KNOW they're wearing mullets...brilliant, no?

i had a dream i was on the main drag in mactown at a bus shelter with jr and a bunch of his peers. i think we were headed to ferndale to rehearse a play or something...they were sitting on the ground...although jr and i were standing...and i felt REALLY uncomfortable and out of place and old...it's just a birthday hangover, i suppose.

i walked all over town while they were looking at the car. went to the chamber of commerce, and got a big pile of brochures and stuff to send to steve, just in case he ever finds himself in my neck of the woods...the REDwoods, that is!

i think i've got a name for the car..."little green", after the joni song about the daughter she gave up for adoption. should i post the lyrics? sure, why not?

Born with the moon in Cancer
Choose her a name she will answer to
Call her green and the winters cannot fade her
Call her green for the children who've made her
Little green, be a gypsy dancer

He went to California
Hearing that everything's warmer there
So you write him a letter and say "Her eyes are blue"
He sends you a poem and she's lost to you
Little green he's a non-conformer

Just a little green
Like the color when the spring is born
There'll be crocuses to bring to school tomorrow
Just a little green
Like the nights when the Northern lights perform
There'll be icicles and birthday clothes
And sometimes there'll be sorrow

Child with a child pretending
Weary of lies you are sending home
So you sign all the papers in the family name
You're sad and you're sorry but you're not ashamed
Little green have a happy ending

Just a little green
Like the color when the spring is born
There'll be crocuses to bring to school tomorrow
Just a little green
Like the nights when the Northern lights perform
There'll be icicles and birthday clothes
And sometimes there'll be sorrow

i STILL think blue is one of the best records of all time...

and i'm gonna check the DMV site and see if someone already has "jonifan" for a vanity liscense plate...i think i'd like that..."jonifag" would be funny, but i'm sure they won't allow "fag", but ya know, it's that diaryring i started...the one for just me and hank...who, by the way, is QUITE a looker...haha, sorry, pal!

i wish i could see what EVERYBODY looks like...a.m., i want a pic of you and your girl someday...

i bought a chicken-salad pita sandwich tonight and left it out for a while cuz i hate it when they're so cold...and the ants found it and got into the container...shit! i threw it out...

fuck! it's 4:30 a.m.

WHAT am i doing?

it's a wonderful life, most of the time. - kisses to you, michael
