got to work at 7:45.
put backpack away in the back BACK room.
got film and paper crossovers from soaking tubs in back room, headed to camera dept. (dropped off s.f. chronicle in breakroom on the way.)
punched in.
counted drawer.
back to breakroom. (coffee)
back to cam. dept. prepared film and paper control strips, loaded them in machine. (started new batch of film control strips, had to punch in new correction values.)
printed printer and index test prints.
store open, ringing up customers.
run printer, index test prints, record values.
run film and paper control strips, record values.
save info on floppy disc.
kill incredible hulk video/dvd floor display, put remaining videos on aisle 5b.
empty two remaing tables of harvest items (no longer 75% off) into shopping cart to make room for 50% off halloween items.
redistribute hand baskets around store.
start processing and printing film. 5 rolls were waiting for me when i arrived. (casey did 38 rolls sunday by himself, he left log on counter so i'd see it, haha!)
help customer with kodak picture maker.
another cup of coffee in here somewhere.
more checking during all this.
14 rolls by 11:00 am!
customer needed watch set, tim helped him as i was doing film. tim spent 10 minutes on watch, then customer said he didn't want to buy it if it was so complicated! steam comes out of boss's ears...
sign for magazine invoices. not gonna be time to check them in today, it appears.
LATE break at 11:40...go out for a smoke, to breakroom for homemade veggie soup and quick look at newspaper. could only find teeny tiny spoon for soup, grrrr! (soup needed salt!)
checked in dvd's of "legally blonde 2". (goes on sale tomorrow.)
21 rolls done by 12:30, casey arrives.
punch out. lunchtime. go to p.o. around corner...mail some bills, then bank, deposit check for home loan.
drive home...feed cat, check email, mtv.com, quick "hi" to philly rob. *tingle*...dropped a note in matty's gbook, it matches his diary now! sweeeet!
drive back. punch in. plenty of film to do. casey lets out a little "help!"
package up box of disposable camera bodies for recycling.
work on reprints due at 2 pm.
semi-closeted employee makes a comment to me about
a "cute" boy i no longer find cute as he tried to rip us off last week. casey laughs. he KNOWS she's one of...us.

print out western union logs for thursday, friday, saturday and sunday.
dump waste liquid from silver recovery machine.
logged qualex invoice.
got water.
got replenishment chemicals...saved casey a trip to back BACK room tonight.
ringing customers on and off in between all this, you understand...
casey takes break.
2nd. break around 3 pm. smoke, coffee, more newspaper.
do 2 western union transactions back to back, one send, one receive.
a guy asked me for 357's...i was thinking bullets (which we don't carry), he meant watch batteries! duh!
casey's lunch at 3:30 pm.
lots of film to keep me busy.
make tags for end display of fountain thingys.
casey back at 4:30 pm. 45 rolls developed and printed!
go to office to count drawer.

i balanced to the penny!
line that i wrote down waiting for boss to reconcile drawer..."angles, not bangles, nerves, not curves." it's something about losing weight i guess...
joyce took care of me, cuz terri couldn't get to office.
grabbed some 2-for-1 coupons we got from an open-24-hours restaraunt chain.
punched out right before 5 pm.
bought pecans, waffle iron (i'm making bannana nut waffles tonight!) and a funny card to send coupons in
to a friend...SOMEONE out there look for a lime-green envelope in the next day or two...
drove home, typed this entry.
